For Dough

  • 1 cup maida
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 tablespoon ghee
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
  • Water as required

Othher ingredients:

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tomato
  • 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 tablespoon chaat masala powder
  • 2 tablespoon tomato ketchup
  • 1/4 tablespoon black pepper powder
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1 tablespoon chilly sauce ( optional )


  • Take a bowl and add maida, powdered sugar, salt and ghee.
  • Add water as required and make a dough.
  • After that apply little oil and cover with a cloth ( muslin ) andrest for 10-15 minutes.
  • Now in another bowl break down the eggs.
  • Add black pepper powder and salt and mix well and keep aside.
  • After 15 minutes divide the well rested dough into three portions and shape each portion into a small dough ball.
  • Roll the dough into a very thin sheet, almost transparent.
  • Starting from one edge, make small pleats by folding the rolled dough.
  • Then, swirl the pleat to form a circle like a swiss roll. Make sure to tug in the end neatly.
  • Cover and rest foor 5 to 10 miutes.
  • Place a pan at medium heat.
  • Roll the shaped dough into a thin circle evenly. Roll from the center to outward.
  • Drizzle a little oil to medium hot pan and placed the roll paratha.
  • Gently press and keep rotating thr paratha on thr pan. Cook for 1 minute drizzl a little oil on top and flip
  • Continue flipping and cooking until you see golden spots all over, after that take off the paratha.
  • Now drizzle oil on the pan, pour the egg and immediately placed the cooked paratha on the top of the egg.
  • Gently move it around so that bottom gets covered in the egg. Cook for a few seconds and carefully flip it around.
  • Now take of the parathaand place the onion, tomato, tomato ketchup. chilly sauce, lime juice and chatt masala and roll the paratha tightly.
  • Wrap it with paper. Make sure to seal the bottom.
  • Serve the roll hot immediately.
