1- 4-5 idlis ( cut in pieces)

2- 1/2 tablespoon vinegar

3- 1 inch ginger

4- 1 clove garlic

5- 1 onion

6- 1 green chilli

7- 1 1/2tablespoon soya sauce

8- 2 tablespoontomato sauce

9- 1 tablespoon red chilli sauce

10- 1 capsicum

11- 1 tablespoon thick corn-starch slurry


1- In a kadai heat oil and add ginger, garlic, onion, green chilli and saute on high heat for a minute.

2- Now add soya sauce and let it caramelize on high flames for half a minute.

3- Add tomato ketchup, vinegar, red chilli sauce saute once then add capsicum and saute on high flames for a minute.

4- Add some water, thick corn-starch slurry mix it properly.

5- Add the idlis and toss them in the sauce properly and cooked for a minutes or two.

6- Chatpati idli ready to serve.
