• 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 cup green peas ( frozen )
  • 1 green chilli
  • 1 tablespoon ginger
  • 1/2 tablespoongaram masala
  • 1 tablespoon coriander powder
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 4 tablespoon cornflour
  • 3 tablespoon coriander leaves
  • 1 tablespoon mint leaves
  • 1/2 to 1 cup bread crumbs
  • Oil as requiredfor frying
  • Water as requried


  • Blach the peas for 6-8 minutes in warm water and set them aside.
  • When it is cool down, put them in the blender along with green chilli and make a fine puree.
  • Heat oil in a kadai and add cumin in it. When the cumin begin to crackles, add the peas puree, ginger and mix well.
  • Now add crumbled potato to the kadai and mix it properly.
  • Add the salt as per taste, coriander powder, garam masala and lemon juice and mix it properly.
  • Turn off the gas and add chopped corianderleaves and mint leaves and mix it.
  • Now prepare a thick cornflour slurry by mixing corn flour with water.
  • Heat the pan ( appe pan ) with the oil just enough to fill the 3/4th of the mould.
  • Now pick the kebab dough and shape it round. Dip them into cornflour slurry followed by breadcrumbs and set it aside.
  • Add the prepared kebabs in the kadai and fry until golden brown throughout.
  • Serve these green peas kebab with ketchup.
